June Fitness Diary


I can't believe we are Half way through 2015!!

The years are just going faster and faster, aren't they?

2015 is the year of getting stronger and more flexible.

Am I where I want to be? Where I REALLY want to be, the answer to that is..Nope.
But I'm still going in the right direction. Looking back seeing how far I have progressed is great motivation. There are still some days, where I need to remind myself, this is a lifestyle and not a quick fix.

I'm still enjoying the progress in my yoga practice. Not happy that I've lost confidence in a few poses, since I fell :( .
I am happy I've got Cardio back into my routines, but I'm struggling a bit doing cardio in this heat!! I'm not good when its hot.

The only thing I enjoy when its hot, is the smoothies! I'm pretty much living on smoothies at the moment.


This months Yoga challenge was
Again I had to do 'catch ups' for pictures. And sadly quite a few poses I didn't attempt.
 
Days 7, 8 and 22 I couldn't do. Day 9 ended up looking like Day 20 and with all the Headstands and day 28, I just did the Tripod Headstand.

This month I noticed more progress in the poses where I need to twist and I'm finding I have a bit more control when I attempt a push up, I still can't do a proper push up (all they way to the floor).. yet :).

I'm looking forward to seeing what the rest of the year brings :)
