Merry Christmas ~ Blogmas Day 24!!!!

WOW! I can't believe I did it.. 24 blog posts in 24 days.

Hats off to the bloggers who do post everyday or even just more than once a week. I applaud you all. It really is more than a Full time job.

Thinking of 24 posts to write was the hardest, but once I worked that out, it was actually really fun! I've really enjoyed it. And it kept me busy, which was one of the main reasons for doing this :).

I'm still surprised I've finally done an outfit post ~ USA Pro outfit . I think that was the hardest post to do. I never realised how time consuming they are to do. I don't know how Fashion Bloggers do it. esp. in the winter when we have less natural day light. Will I do more outfit posts?

I'm unsure on that. Never say Never :).

One of my most looked at Blogmas post (clicked directly through the link) is Giving Back at Christmas :) Just a little reminder...All the tips and advice in that post, can be used through out the year. They are not just for Christmas.

Thank you all for taking the time to read my blog posts. It really means a lot. I hope I've inspired / helped you in some way.

I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. What ever you are doing. Have fun, enjoy and stay safe.

I wish you all the best for 2016.

See you all next year.

Christmas Nails ~ Blogmas Day 23

Throughout the year, I normally wear quite neutral colours on my nails. But at Christmas I like to add some colour and sparkle.

These are the nail polishes I have chosen to wear this year.

Nails Inc. Wigmore Street, which was a freebie with a Glamour Magazine.
B box Glitter polish, which I got in a gift set last Christmas.

What colour are your Nails? Are you Neutral or Bold colours at Christmas?

Gluten Free Peanut Butter Christmas Cookies Recipe ~ Blogmas Day 20

I used this recipe for Valentines Day this year (Blog Post).
They are so yummy. I've done them again but instead of hearts, they are Christmas themed.

The same with all my other recipes. I find a recipe and make it Gluten & Dairy Free and suitable for vegetarians.

Preparation time: approx. 20 mins

Dough chilling time: 1 hour 30 mins

Cooking time: 8-12 mins

Oven Temperature: 180 C / 350 F / Gas 4

1 mixing bowl
Cookie Cutters
Wooden Spoon
Kitchen Scales
Rolling Pin
Baking Tray
Grease Proof Paper
Wire Rack

  • 100g Peanut Butter
  • 100g Caster Sugar
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • 200g Plain Gluten Free Flour, plus extra for dusting.
  • 1/2tsp Vanilla Essence

1 ~ Place the Peanut Butter and Sugar in a bowl and beat them until they are just creamy in texture (do not over mix or the cookies will spread during baking). Add the vanilla essence then beat in the egg until it is well combined.

2 ~ Add the flour and mix it in until a dough forms. Gather the dough into a ball, wrap it in cling film and chill it for at least 1 hour.

3 ~ Place the dough on a lightly floured surface and, using a rolling pin, roll it out to an even thickness of approx. 5mm. You will notice (if this is your first time baking with GF flour) the dough is really crumbly, just keep compressing and combining the dough.

4 ~  Dust the top of the dough very lightly with flour, then cut out a cookie.

5 ~ Transfer the cookies to a baking tray lined with grease proof paper and chill for at least 30 minutes before baking.

6 ~ Preheat the oven to 180 C / 350 F / Gas 4. Bake the cookies for 8 - 12 mins until they are a golden colour.

7 ~ Allow the cookies to cool on the baking tray for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Enjoy :)

Christmas Movies ~ Blogmas Day 19

Here are a few of my favourite movies to watch at Christmas. Some are not Christmas related. But, I/we always watch them around Christmas time.

When I was younger, I always watched:

The Muppet Christmas Carol

The Muppets tell their version of the classic tale. Seriously, Who isn't a fan of the Muppets :)

The Goonies

Hey you Guys!!! I can't believe this film is 30 years old.

A Die Hard

Yippee ki-yay

There's always a Die Hard film on TV this time of year!. Now I watch the 4th film, its my favourite one.

Home Alone

and the latest Disney movie that was released that year.

Now, I watch (plus all the above :))

A Harry Potter

Really I watch these all year round. But it feels right to watch at least one at Christmas.

Toy Story (1, 2 or 3)

You always have to watch a Disney/Pixar (its the law ;) hehe).

You can't not watch this movie, Its so funny.

What are your favourite movies to watch at Christmas?

USA Pro Fitness Oufit ~ Blogmas Day 18

I thought it was about time I did an outfit post on my little blog.
My first outfit post is obviously going to be fitness related, and it's my favourite from USA Pro.

I purchased this set in April this year (2015). I'm sorry I can't share a link for this, because its no longer available. (I think most of) USA Pro clothes are Limited Edition. Once they're gone, they're gone. My advice, if you really like one of their outfits, GET IT! I'm so happy I got this one when I did.

It's sooooo pretty :)

Their outfits are great for the gym and yoga. They are so comfortable, true to size, supportive, very detailed and colourful.

Out of all the sports bras I own, USA Pro are the best. They have padded cups for comfort and support.

The leggings. These are three quarter length and have an elasticated waistband. They also have a little zipped pocket.

This was the second outfit I purchased from USA Pro. I now have 4. So far this is my favourite one. But, I've seen their latest collection and there are a few I'm keeping my eye on :).

Do you own any USA Pro items? What's your favourite set?

Next Wish List, Gift Guide ~ Blogmas Day 17

Last year I put together a little wish list from Next. There are so many lovely things again, I decided to do one for this year. But, just based on gifts for the home.

Here are a few of my favourites:

16 Aperture Gloss Collage Frame

Pictures of my gorgeous nephew are taking over my home. Not quite taking over from the pictures of the dogs, but its getting close. This elegant frame would be perfect.

Plum Bubble Glass Vase

Beautiful shimmer effect purple glass vase, ideal for a big bouquet of Tulips :).

Brushed Cotton Stars Print Bed Set

Set Of 24 Spice Rack

I've really gotten into making my meals from scratch lately, and I've got a very small selection of spices growing in my kitchen cupboard. This selection of Spices in a rack will make me look very professional in my kitchen :).

Dog Runner And Feeding Mat
Had to have something dog related, didn't I :). I would use this mat as a door mat, not as a feeding mat. A place where the dog knows they need to sit and get their paws wiped down.

What's on your Wish List?
